    1986D-1MM-001 Maybe LDS

I'm out of acetone, so he looks a little rough, plus it's a very well circulated coin. Nice RPM none the less!

    Thanks for looking, Jon.

Thanks Cliff!! I would need to look but I think I may have one other modern RPM. I've had several others I thought were but not.

Excellent find Jon... I am not sure on the die stage tho... The chip you pointed out looks to far east on yours compared to VVs Stage C http://www.varietyvista.com/02b%20LC...986DRPM001.htm That may be a crack on C11??? Are those abrasions in B11 and B12??? Hopefully you can give it a good bath and that will expose some better markers??? Can you match any markers around the date/MM for the different stages??? So you started your SL40

Yeah, it's a little rough around the edged and hard to tell right now. I'll get it cleaned next week as we are going to be leaving in the morning for Hatteras!! I was amazed when we got a call from the realty company letting us know the island would be open to the public at 3:00 tomorrow and our house was undamaged! The SL40 is still on, just in a different location!

Sounds like a great time Jon! Looking forward to hearing about your fun trip and the Lincoln's you find while you're there!

.... been searching today, nothing yet but I think it's getting close to time that a nice one should show up
