    Now I have seen everything!

There have been BUNCH of first time Ebay sellers putting up supposedly Close AM 1992 cents for bid. But this guy, is just as much a con. The coin has a hit at the base of the AM making it appear closer. Or is he just an inexperienced collector ???

I have also seen some NGC graded 1992 cents get crazy money on ebay I think because NGC puts "WIDE AM" on the slab.
On one hand it's ok because there are wide and close AMs for the year. Still some confused buyers might only know they saw 1998, 1999, 2000 "WIDE AMs" have extra value so they sort of assume a 1992 WIDE AM is special or it wouldn't be on the holder. I've never been sure to blame the buyers or the way they put it on the holder but I think it should say "NORMAL WIDE AM" to avoid confusion.
It made me say "ughhhhh" a few times when I've seen MS64 or 65 regular ones in slabs get bid over $100 probably based on confusion.

This coin only sold for normal money, posted as example of how they label them:
