1959 with weird “tail” on the E on ONE

    Additional Information
    Date: 1959

Can anyone tell for sure what this is? Wear? Hit? Or something else. I want to say maybe a little wear with maybe a small hit possibly? I don’t see any other evidence of any other letter like it. 363D6F5C-9FE8-491B-9DE1-C365B4353D42.jpg 99BC4335-0D95-4777-8C11-AB45F111DB63.jpg AC38B77C-7CA3-4B6C-831C-BD7CDB11525A.jpg 619EEF96-FE3E-4660-A77D-A88271253575.jpg 25A601BF-AC51-49BB-A076-97E7B2EAB833.jpg F8CFE324-C9DD-4F09-A120-CDD5FEDF9C94.jpg

Geez... I'm like you, not sure what it is. Maybe it's a die chip, or die damage? Let's see what the guys think!

I'm with Viv, die chip from a heavily used and very LDS die.
Notice the long parallel flow lines pointing towards the center of the coin from the rim.
That is evidence of an old die which tends to lead to symptoms of die failure.

Thank you. I kind of considered a die chip, I thought that it looked a little too attached. Thank you for clarifying.
