Very nice RPM on a 71! I don't always look to see who submitted the listing, but it caught my attention that this is one of Bob's! Congrats Larry J!

Excellent find Larry... I compared yours with CCs http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/d...&die_state=mds and VVs http://varietyvista.com/02b%20LC%20R...971DRPM002.htm and noticed how well I could see the secondary MM on yours... Then I looked at VVs MM styles http://varietyvista.com/01b%20LC%20D...k%20Styles.htm There is only 1 style listed for the 71D (MMS-008)... I wonder if this is actually a D/D/D... The vertical size of your secondary MM looks to be to tall for a D/D tilted??? If the secondary MM was moved west to align the vertical bars it would need to also be moved north to align the lower serif and horizontal bar leaving a much more prominent upper serif and horizontal bar, nearly twice the thickness of a normal MM for the style, visible to the north of the primary MM... Then it could be my pair of doilies again

(A.K.A. Elmer Fudd) Be verwy verwy quiet... I'm hunting coins!!! Good Hunting!!!

Love it when you post an RPM from the '70's.
    Shows they really exist.

I haven't come across any in my rolls.
