    1982 Lincoln cent Doubling ,but what kind?

    Date: 1982

    Can anyone explain just what i'm seeing here? Not hub doubling right?
    Is it genuine doubling another kind? Though it's certainly appears kool to me!

    You got it right. It's not a DDO.

    There are some ramps from die wear that catch the light and reflect plus some strike doubling.

    Your coin is a LD zinc, the big one for the date is only known on the copper LDs. Not that there can't be one on a zinc but it pretty much rules out the one in the CPG.
