I ran across a crusty 84P new spike head today. There are only two listings for the 84P, Larry has one and Earl, who has a thousand or so Spike Head discoveries has the other one.
Nice spike Jon! That's interesting that there are only 2 SKH's reported so far for 1984! You'd think with it being an 80's coin there would be lots of them! Congrats on a new spike listing!!!

Thanks Viv!! I thought it was very odd too that there were only 2 and cool that Larry had one of them! I had never paid attention before but there are no 80's or 81's at all.

That is very odd Jon that there are no 80-81 SKH's! Thank you for the info! I have some spikes set aside, now you have me wondering if any of them are 80-81's, will have to go back and check

Yeah, I have a few in the can I need to pull out and check. I need to have a separate can for those like you do.

LOL... oh no... I don't know if you really want more than one aggravation can! I don't have can's... just brick boxes that are labeled different things. I had to do something because my can runneth over!!! For instance... there are different labels like... SKH, RIDB/IDB, BIE, RPM's, DDR Columns, 2009's, Ed System, Wheats, Trails, Foreign, Examples, No's (don't keep all of the No's just the ones that bugged me the most), Needs Attribution, Re-check, Waiting on Jim's answer and Ready to be filed. DD's, etc. are locked in a safe. The coins are not loose in the boxes, the flip is marked with the date, what it is, etc.
Since I don't have much time right now I'm really focusing on Doubled Dies. I don't even try to tackle the DDR Columns and 2009's, but one day if I run out of Lincoln's to search I can go back and try to figure out some of those though ones
Added: Forgot the Error box... there's not many in it
Heh, heh. You're probably right! I'll just stick with the can... I'm not that deep yet and don't run through the coins you do Viv, I'm not that good! I let my Ed coins get up to 30 or so and put them away but other than that I have stuff scattered all over the place with no direction what so ever.
Jon, you are that good too and pretty soon you will have no other choice but to come up with some way to organize everything! I'm just bad about leaving stuff in the "Ready to be filed" box too long because I'd rather be searching Lincolns! That box is pretty full right now
JC listed it as SKH-1c-1984-03, thanks JC!! This is one ugly cent but I'm glad to have it listed just behind the King of Spikes and the King of Rolls!!
