I think this extra thickness you may be seeing on the E . P is part of the regular design. (Especially the vertical bar of the E)

I see now. Thank you for pointing that out. I was comparing it to another one that I have. The other one I have does look slightly different. Apparently because of a clash that they were trying to polish out. I got it now. Thank you again.

Looks like Cliff nailed it... The devices have also been flattened out by circ wear giving the appearance of a DD... That has fooled many of people... Me especially
