2003 P Die Chip
Interesting this Die Chip is not close to the roof; but about halfway on the column. I think it can still be called a Hornet's Nest???
Thanks

Nice find Adrian!! That's a good question, I'm not sure if it has touch the ceiling to be considered a hornets nest. I'm not sure if that is a technical term on Cuds on Coins or just something it has been named. I do know it's considered an IDB. I'll read up on it later and get back with you.

Well, I looked at the listings on Cuds on Coins and the "Hornets Nest" is not separated in any way, it's just called an IDB still. In the glossary, here on the LCF, it does give a definition though (http://www.lincolncentforum.com/terminology-list-h/). It only says that it forms at the top of the first bay. At the end of the day you found a nice chip!! It also looks like there was a second one forming in bay 2 just slightly higher. There is only one IDB on the 2003P and one for 2003D and they are both "Hornets Nests". The Denver is Cliffs and a very nice one!! Link (http://cuds-on-coins.com/lincoln-cent-idb-1959-2008/)
