I've never really had anything that I felt may qualify for this but I'm gunna take a stab at a UDC on Cuds on Coins. The best I can tell, there are no parameters or rules for these, so I guess it's up to JC as to whether it makes the cut or not. I guess we'll see!

Wow Jon! I think that is very unusual! Can't say I've ever seen anything even remotely similar... hope it makes the cut! What is that at the neck? It looks like long die breaks.

Thanks Viv!! It's definitely different than anything I found before. It didn't qualify for a shattered die in my opinion but thought is was extreme enough to at least send to JC. At the neck is where it terminates and looks to be, like you said a couple of breaks on top of each other.

Thanks Ed, I forgot to add that. I think what you are seeing is displacement and a tilt in the coin at the crack which is giving it a different tone because of the shadow. Just my take on it though...

Below the eye also looks like it's trying to be a RIDB. Does the die crack end just below the E of WE? This is really cool looking Jon!

Yeah, it looks like there could be a small RIDB there but was not sure. Yes, that's where it ends. I moved the coin all over trying to get the crack to go to the rim but could not...

By the way, there are only 12 UDC's across all of the Lincoln series!

I forgot to add, this was another late night toddie can coin. I remember this one very well though, thinking that this should qualify for some type of error.

I looked at IDB's and RIDB's and didn't see any thing similar to yours. Here's an interesting one that has a similar RIDB at the eye, but it's not the same as yours RIDB-1c-1995-06

I was thinking that might be it but that means it has enough displacement that when handled it got skin oil on the main part of the bust and not the smaller section (front part) as if the front part sunk (raised on die sunk on coin)??? or the back main part raised (sunk on die raised on coin)???

I know the front part is lower in the first place but that tone pattern looks like something must be very shifted to make the toning change so distinctly along it.
