Cool looking... Is there a crack starting at the rim just west of the 1st T of TRUST... It looks to travel down thru the hair, forehead, nose, east side of the upper lip then down thru the chin into the field and down to nearly the bottom of the jacket??? It may be some lite reflection from plating blisters but I can not tell for sure???

This is a cool looking coin in hand... However it is not what it appears to be... The full coin pics are with indirect lighting... Notice all the discoloration along the entire side in question - This is a stain and there may be a lite coating of unknown origin stuck to the surface... I am currently out of acetone so I decided not to ask permission to soak it... I also did a series of close up pics from top to bottom with direct and indirect lighting to show the effects on what we can see... With direct lighting the stain disappears as does nearly all of the visible anomalies especially at the eye... There is a fairly long, what appears to be, a semi linear plating blister from the chin down to the vest however this may be a split in the plating??? I am not 100% sure either way... This is the first set of pics!!!

Here are the rest of the pics... Also notice on the full rev pic at S Of there appears to be a struck thru grease that has partially Obscured parts of the letters... Thanks Mr. D for letting me look at this coin in hand... I appreciate it!!!

Wow. Would have never guessed it was a stain. Very well done Jim, and thanks for the great work on this one!

I am totally confused, Jim. You say all of the pictures were taken in direct lighting?
