    1972S proof

    Got in the 72 today but I cant figure out what that is on the I in EPU? I know its blurry but figured id ask anyway lol gonna het me a better scope before too long

    I can see it well enough in your photo. As far as what it is, have you attempted to remove it with a q-tip? Does it look like a scratch or stain to you?

    Whatever it was came off with a q tip, thank yall for the tips.... I was a little worried about opening it but all went well
