    1997P 25c New Spike!!!

Here is another one. This one is a 1997 P showing 2 cracks as Spike Heads and I don't think the crack on top of Washington's Head is the same as SKH-25c-1997P-01 listed here:http://cuds-on-coins.com/washington-...ads-1932-1999/ as the crack on that one enters the head closer to the "E" in LIBERTY than what it does on mine. I could be wrong though and perhaps you can help. The other crack at the bottom of the bust looks also different to SKH-25c-1997p-02 also listed in that page. Interesting my coin has both similar cracks present on two different coins. Definitely weak spots for the dies, I guess.
    Thanks,
    Adrian

Cool... I agree your spike is totally different than 01 and the spike at the bottom is totally different from 02 listed on COC... Looks like yours is 03 Your pics look good enough for listing, in my eyes any way I moved your post to its' own thread... Since it is a different year you will get more looks and comments!!!

Unfortunately for me JC rejected the submission. He said the pics were not good enough once again.
    Thanks,
    Adrian

I made the submission this time Jim, just because you suggested that. He said the the images have a rough cracked appearance and a normal coin does not look like that.
I did retouched the images and below is what I actually sent. Perhaps the images are too sharp, too much contrast, not enough resolution???
    Thanks,
    Adrian
