Sounds great! Honestly... what I am seeing on your coin reminds me of the 2017-P 1c WWHO-002 Doubled Working Hub on Wexler's site. The pick up point for those is the TY.

    Hello
Took a ride today over to a friend's house and borrowed his eyepiece with mmmeasurement lines and the 20 of date is cut into by the doubling. So that part i am sure is machine doubling. As far as the light extra thickness on RTY not sure what that is.
I would like to thank everybody for pointing me in the right direction.
    Paul

Cool, thanks Paul for the update on the MD on the date! The only other thing I saw and forgot to mention is your pic #12 in post #7, it looks like there's a PSD scratch just above the right arm of the Y and it looks like the Y took a hit there. What do you think?

How do you like your new camera? Your photos look very good!

I noticed that hit also but don't think it affected any thickness to the Y. Will save coin for future reference.
The camera i bought was for work outside. It is the Olympus TG5. This camera is waterproof and will take stacked photos and has microscope functions. So far took pic's thru my microscope eyepiece.
and i need to get better lighting and learn to use the camera features. Thanks for your observations. Now on to another find to photograph and post.

That's cool you have a new camera for work and also for taking pics of Lincolns! It will be fun for you to see what all it can do! Good idea to save this one and compare it to other 2015D's you see. It could be what we are seeing is normal for the date and design, or possibly it's a minor DD? Curious to see what you come up with during your comparisons!

Great pics to make a determination with Paul. I am afraid I don't see anything that would make this a doubled die. We have to remember that in order to make a doubled die these days, multiple hubbings or some sort of mechanical snap back or error would have to occur during that hubbing. If we are needing this much magnification on this specimen, it probably isn't worth it. The fact that we know we have MD on this coin is also a reason to doubt it is anything of consequence. Sorry.
