I was checking out some of my older coins with this scope and ran across this one and things look a little different up close. I was wondering what's going on, on this coin? Is that a separation line at the bottom of the 5 and on the 9? Up close it looks like two parts molded together on each number or does that just means I'm too close with the scope? I'm not sure what's going on in the words GOD and the W in we, unless it's PSD?
"This is the same coin you posted before inquiring about an RPM. Sorry, but I see nothing that indicates a doubled die or RPM. I see die deterioration and also a series of hits on the date, mint mark, and motto."

I hear ya. Sometimes too close is a bad thing. It can wash out what you are trying to see. Often, farther back can sharpen what you are trying to see. Like on these 1957D cents. Those doubled dies are extremely tough to see except on clearly shot BU specimens.

Poor coin looks like it was caught in a coin star machine It may be that you are to close to the coin to get a clear pic... The pics look pixelated to me???
