Raw unattributed 1911 D RPM 2 on the bay

I found an unattributed 1911 D RPM 2 if your interested. The problem is the corrosion around the mint mark makes it hard to see, but if you compare it to a known graded example and especially compare the rev and obv die cracks, you will see they are spot on.

This is the known graded example

and this is the unattributed coin.

Good Luck to whoever snags it.

    Bob,
Thank you for pointing this one out. (I thought Christmas spending would keep me from it but, alas, I fell to those numismatic sirens) I was able to snag this one for a little less by pointing out the flaws (all the die cracks and such that are actually important markers).
Your link to the known example was important as the online images are lacking in markers.
I'm guessing this will be AU details grade when I send it in because of the dings on the rim but still a nice example of a variety with minimal examples.

    Thanks again, Cliff.
