1960D LD RPM - D/D South or D/D Southeast - The third one!
1960D LD RPM - D/D South or D/D Southeast - The third one!
When I got this surprise gift of three awesome RPM's in the mail... I thought this one would be the easiest to figure out, but it has actually been the hardest one!
I haven't given up and I'm still looking for a match, but I'm starting to get weary and could sure use some help! Thank you guys!
Still hoping to get this one figured out before you guys have to tackle it! I LOVE this new light bulb! I'm trying to see inside the MM for a vertical bar and I don't see one, but I love the color this bulb is producing! It's smack on the color of the coin!!! What I am trying to figure out now is... why the punching to the south disappeared when I put this light on it?!
Thank you enamel! What do you guys think about either an early die stage or later one after the reverse die change of 055? I'm hardly seeing any die scratches on this entire coin and definitely no cracks or chips on the reverse! Here's Coppercoins https://coppercoins.com/lincoln/dies...&die_state=lds

Thar does look like a RPM to me also... Only problem with 055 is the secondary MMs location... VVs http://www.varietyvista.com/02b%20LC...960DRPM055.htm is much closer in Stage A thru D than yours is??? On your pic with the non led lite it washed out due to the lights angle... The light/shadow effect is much different compared to the led!!!
Jim (A.K.A. Elmer Fudd) Be verwy verwy quiet... I'm hunting coins!!! Good Hunting!!!
