    1988 P Reverse of 1989??

I recently found two 1988 Lincoln's that I am hoping contain the 1989 reverse design. They are posted and available for examination. I hoped I scored but my rookie status needs confirmation! Thanks in advance.

I would say no on both. I cannot see any horizontal serif bar. (http://www.lincolncentresource.com/F.../1988RDV6.html)

That short vertical extension towards the bottom of the curve has gotten me as well.
Other things people use is the proximity of the FG to the building.

I like using how the bottom bar of the F lines up in relation to the top of the G for each reverse. Plating bubbles and just what tripped you up is less likely to affect this alignment.
    Hope this makes sense.

Both of the reverse coin pics are the same coin. Did you have another photo of another coin that you didn't post?
