    1993-D Memorial

    Additional Information
    Date: 1993

Saw the wave getting ready to clean the top of the Memorial, then noticed the "doubling" along the rest of the top. Am guessing probably plating issues along with the die chips, but has anyone run across this before?

Looks to just be plating issues but the one above bay 7 has a cool hook shape to it!!

I can't tell for sure if those are plating blisters or die chips.

The chip above C4 (Column 4) looks to be in a crack and has been hit splitting the plating... Nice chip on the upper roof north of B3 (Bay 3) that has been spared from circ wear like the others due to its protected location... C3 and C4 have cracks and chip... The crack from the chip N of C4 looks like it makes it to the chip N of C9 then curls up and out the west tip of the chip... That die may have been on its way to retirement
