Bet I made out better with my cookout than the dishwasher. I was stuffed.
Yeah and you had to go home and take a nap... so we have to wait another day for pics! Really though... I'm glad you had a fun cookout and I would pick that over a dishwasher any day (poor Will has some tough jobs!)
Thanks for looking Bob. And that was why I went with 007. The vertical bar of the MM on 013 pointed to a slightly different area above also. I think this coin is a fairly early die state coin.
But there really are quite a few that are similar and not many with cross reference #'s between VV , CC , and DD . I'm going to llok at the MM placement a little more to see if anything else comes close.
EDIT: VV 007 is the same as DD 007 (and is referenced as so by Wexler)
Here's a few more images of markers on this coin.
The straight die scratch starting between OD at the rim and extending towards WE shows up in VV images and my new ones.
Thanks again for pointing this one out and adding input.

Nice job on the pics through a slab with a phone Cliff! Do you see the die gouge in the field under E of Liberty on 007? Dr. Wiles mentions it as a Stage B marker and the pic of it is at the end of Stage C photos.
I'm with you guys on the 007, Cliff's seems to have more die scratches at the rim at IGWT. The die scratches at IN look real close to 007, but there's more on GWT.
