    Answered: 1919S Doubled NUM in EPU???

    NUM in UNUM appears to be a lot thicker than the rest of EPU, would that be doubling? I couldn't get a close up shot on this worn coin. There wasn't a listing for it so I'm skeptical lol

    It looks like you have some MD on the east wheat stalk and some of the other letters, especially the "S" in PLURIBUS but the area in question looks like it's from deterioration.

    There could also have been a little grease on the die there, or else just some localized circulation wear. It is hard to say for certain, but the extra thickness is definitely not from hub doubling.

    What does the obv look like??? To me it looks like circ wear that has affected the rim, wheat ear and even the NW side of the rev!!!
