    I should also mention that the zoom does not go wide enough to capture the entire coin which I am disappointed with.

    Yeah, on my cheapie scope, I can actually find 2 points of focus, one narrow and one wider. Mess around with it a little, Eric.

    Yes, if I remove the scope from the base I can adjust the height to make it work. Just a small hassle.

    Yeah, I don't even use the stand. I just hand-hold it for speed when searching.
