    Stubborn British verdigris

    Not sure that US-made Verdi-Care works on English verdigris. Didn't remove any of this -- Currently letting it soak a bit.

    I would let that soak in mineral oil for a few weeks and check back to see if any has flaked off. You can take a thorn from a rose to gentle prod some of the caked on stuff. Assuming this is not a rare coin. You should always practice on the cheap stuff.
