    1960-D RPM-18, stage H/1MM-93 MDS

    Additional Information
    Date: 1960
    Variety: RPM
    Mint: Denver
    Coneca: 18
    Coppercoins: 93

I've had this one a while and it was attributed by someone else as RPM-18. This morning I decided I would put it in a better flip and while doing so I took a closer look at it to verify the attribution: That is where things went a little sideways.

Since I like to put multiple attribution numbers on the flip [when available] I also looked up the coin on CopperCoins and somehow they have this RPM separated into two [or three] listings. CopperCoins has 1MM-18 listed, then references 1MM-160 [for a couple of stages] where it states that RPM-18 is divided into two dies. When I found that I wasn't satisfied with the info/markers there I did another search and found 1MM-93 to have the most accurate info/markers (for 1MM-18/1MM-160 MDS, same as my copy). And as RPM-18, mine is matches with stage H.

All this sent me down a rabbit hole to try and figure out what was correct since I consider mine to be late stage/state. I included some of the "marker" pics that illustrate some of the confusion. I finally gave up and just called mine RPM-18, stage H/1MM-93, MDS.

Hopefully I got all these references correct... trying to multi-task.

Same here with all single and some double split-serif RPMs, but if it has an extra spine, curve, foot, etc. I will generally "endeavor to persevere".
