Check out this mess. No doubt a semi erased clash but have never seen one quite like this.

Some serious work done on that... Looks like a letter remnant in Bay 2 off of Column 3??? A nice rotated clash!!!

Could the "deepness" of the area be mostly from die deterioration instead of polishing since it still seems to continue into bay 4 like a normal clash. (Shows up best in the full reverse shot)
I would think some serious polishing of this depth would have taken out a column or two.

I think it's all polishing... Some of columns 3, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 are affected also with column 4 getting the worse!!!
