    Answered: 1954 S mint mark error possible S/D

    So I found this today looking through my 50s wheat backs. Tell me what you think, thanks!

  2. "These are remnants from a die clash. The dies came together without a planchet in between and left an impression of each design on the other. It's one of the more common mint errors you'll come across."

    This is a very well known cracked die. It is not a D mint mark.
