    Judging by that one picture, I'd say there's a combination of things contributing to that appearance. Some alloy issues look to be exacerbated by corrosion.

    Thanks Larry and thanks Will. I haven’t come across one with such a whole surface area being effected before so I thought I would post to see if it would get sorted out for me. I have tubes of woodys that I set aside that have alloy issues and I really like collecting those.
