1936 DDO-001 amazing
Here it is. At the ANA a gentleman named John Amato brought this DDO-001 to the CONECA table to confirm his attribution was correct. I have done work on this die, so it took about 2 seconds at most to make my determination. The coin shows a nice class IV spread on all devices: LIBERTY, IGWT, the ear, hair details, lapel, bowtie and the date. The die was LMDS. The one die marker is the crack across the shoulder with a small die break.

Breathtaking! Even in a late die state, the doubling is crisp. I sold one a few years back in 64rd for strong money, but boy I miss it. Great coins are hard to replace
