    Answered: 1992 D not sure if MD or DDR?

    I'm inclined towards MD; but can't tell for sure. Please take a look at the first bay in the memorial, it looks like the first column is doubled. Please let me know what you think.

    That is in the design of the Memorial, the first and last columns have it. I thought and posted the same thing when I first started searching Lincolns. Nice pics!!

    Jon's half correct... The inner columns are also on C5B5 and C8B7... They do not also show up do to die wear or struck threws!!!

    B is for bay and C is for column. They are from west to east or left to right numerically. Here is a pic to show the column design Jim was referring to.

    Yes , I could imagine what B and C were standing for. I understood that; but what I don't understand is why he said you were only half correct. In other words, what part of your answer is right and which one isn't?

    I was just referring to your question originally, about the first column. I don't think Jim was saying I was wrong, just that I did not tell you about the column design in the center at bays 5 and 7 also.
