DCAM Proof Dies vs. Cameo Proof
A question that I can't seem to find an answer to via my search engine...
For those years that there were DCAM (or UCAM) proofs, Cameo Proofs, and plain Proofs.
Are there separate dies for DCAM and CAM proofs? Or, are Cameo Proofs made by DCAM proofs as the "frostiness" becomes worn on the die? I'm assuming that the plain Brilliant Proofs are different dies?
Thank you, and I hope y'all have a Happy Christmas and a blessed New Year!

I am thinking that the cameo, deep cameo and regular proofs all come from the same dies whereby the deep cameos are the very earliest to be struck, then the cameos then regular proofs.
Hopefully, someone with more knowledge on this will chime in.
P.S. Thank you for not saying that you "Googled it". It drives me mad when people say that.

Tpring expressed my understanding pretty well.
One proof die will progress through all the stages if they are used long enough. The longer they are used the weaker the " Cameo frosting" becomes.
