I have had this ddr for a while sitting on my desk top unattributed.
Again, without the use of the mintmark as a marker, the only good indicators that I have are on the obverse [though the reverse does have significant class vi doubling]. I am hoping that someone might recognize the markers I have pointed out on my pic.
I'll look over the reverse again for any more markers to post.
I think it may be a new one. The only listing that gave me pause was doubleddies 1943 1¢ WDDR-014. I couldn't find any of the markers to match for sure, but some similarities. If it's not that one, I don't think I see it.
Thanks for checking out this coin. I looked at #14 and while it is close I don't think it is a match. From Wexler's EPU pic that coin looks to have a more elongated second dot than does my coin.
Just snagged a similar [1943P] ddr today so when I get it, hopefully it will prove to be a match. And if I still cannot ID it then, send it in.
