    1909 VDB FS 102

    Additional Information
    Date: 1909
    Variety: DDO
    Mint: Philadelphia

I think someone else saw this because it cost me almost 50. Maybe one of you guys? Anyway, I think I can see cartwheel luster on this even though the pics are horrible. What do you think? The die chips in LIBERTY and the clash remnant at the throat are evident.

Nice MDS coin from the looks of LIBERTY die chips. Some of the straight on shots do look like it does have the cartwheel going on though. The grainy pics make it hard to tell it's true condition though. Nice pick!

Right. It's actually the really dark pics that might be showing the luster. Fingers crossed it's uncleaned.

    Definitely a winner. Congrats.

At the local shows, a VDB coin would have gone for that much without a variety so you got a good deal.

I will. It was delivered today, but I'm away until Friday.

I'm home and I opened it up. Looks kinda like it is coated in something. I'm soaking it now.
