Unanswered: Request Thread Unlocked For Editing

I have a request for the Admins. Please unlock the first post on this thread for editing:

    http://www.lincolncentforum.com/foru...ing-Statistics

I am using this as a living post to update links to make CRH easily found and also to keep a living statistical count going into the future. Is this something that is possible to do?

Usually only the title is locked.
Are you looking to edit part of our info/message?

Yes, I would really like to be able to edit the original message at will.

You should be able to edit the message on your post by clicking on the Pencil icon ("Edit Post") at the bottom right of your posts, next to the "reply" button.

Not sure how the site works to unlock the titles to the "original posters". I think this site is set up so only the Admins can edit titles.
Hopefully an admin can clarify for both of us.

So the edit button goes away after a certain amount of time. Not trying to change the title.

I didn't realize the edit button disappears over time.
May have to just add to the post, not change/update.

I can see the Edit Post button on your posts for that thread... I am a moderator so that may have something to do with it??? I am not sure why you wouldn't be able to other than you are a Registered User and not a Paid Member??? I will forward the info to the administrators and we will see what they say... Sorry for the delay in responding to this thread!!!

The edit post button is always available unless the thread is locked, which this one is not. I am trying to recreate the problem from a non admin account but cannot. This issue has never happened before. Can you clarify what you mean by disappears? You go to your post, the edit pencil is there and then...?

FYI- Evidently there is NO edit option for a Non Admin. None are visible to me on his referenced post.
I checked some of my older posts and the edit "pencil" icon is not available either.
Maybe there is a time limit to edit our posts?
