Found this coin in a brick today. Does anybody know anything about it and possible value? I see what looks like a die chip in picture #3.

A Nazi Geman coin. Perhaps circulated in the Netherlands? It says "Deutftches Reich," which is something like Dutch Reich?

Looks to be a definite German 2 fenig... The chip looks as if a leaf fell off and got stuck... Nice coin... Someone from coppercoins should know... Maybe Bob will chime in... Good Hunting!!!

The term Deutsches Reich is German for "German Kingdom". It was used to identify the country under the Kaisers (emperors) and was appropriated by the Nazis to describe the power of their dictatorship. When Germany became a republic after their defeat, the country was renamed as the Bundesrepublik Deutschland, or The Federal Republic of Germany.

It is a die chip IMHO and it is a 2 Phenning or Penny coin from Nazi Germany.
