I started with cents back in grade school (1965 ish). Over the years I was able to fill all of the holes in my Whitman folder.
When times were good I replaced my slider 'key dates' with better grades.
Then, after I was downsized from my job 5 years ago, I had to sell all of my good stuff. That included full sets of Walking Liberty halves, Buffalo Nickels, and so on. Unfortunately that included my 09S VDB, 14D and 22 plain.
But I am a CherryPicker. I go through about $50 of cent rolls every week.
I have found 1 1983 DDO, 3 1984 DDO, some 1998 & 2000 wide AMs, and a bunch more.
In the last two years I have put aside the copper 1959-1982 (not the 82 zinc). So far over $350.00 face hoping that the price will jump when/if it will ever be legal to melt.
