For those of you who have never seen mint goop or crud, here is an example pulled from a OBW roll of 1960D small date Lincoln cents. You can see bits of copper in the mix which just adds to the strength of this stuff. No wonder it clogs dies.

Almost like tar or Dried up grease. Thanks for sharing BJ.

BJ it does look like dried up grease. I see at the top of the G it looks like it wasn't struck all the way because of the grease. Just my thoughts. Are you going to try and clean up the grease. I would like to see what it looks like up the mess.
