Hello, since you started a die chip thread I thought I would ad this one and since I'm at it I'll ad in my penny dated 19.96. Nothing special but it is a unique place for a die chip... thanks for looking.

the 1988 rdv-006 i just sold had die chips, not on the 9 but all over. i didn't know what they were called. i should have put it in the listing.

I am thinking that there not die chip's. Perhap's the zinc layer has gas bubbles. I posted a picture of what gas bubbles look like. Was the MM in the same position as the 88 D listed on Variety Vista?

i think you are right, i'm still a novice, so i don't know about that. the mint mark looks to me as they are in the same position.
