    1990 P Counter strike? Collar Strike?

    I really don't know. Both Obverse and reverse have the same ridge running at the same area of the coin.

      I see this fairly often and here's the explanation in Chuck Daugherty's 2nd Ed. of Looking through lincoln cents (page 306): "The other problem evident on this coin is the raised ridge that shows going around two thirds of the edge of the design and greatly affects the motto. This is a late die state coin, and this is how the dies wear from striking zinc cents."

      Makes sense to me since there seems to be no rhyme or reason to it otherwise.
