      Aliens? Crop circles?

Hard for me to tell, but are those circle lines raised or incuse?

If I remember correctly, Jason posted one of these earlier and concluded that they were lathe lines. It may be in his files online.

I never took Lincoln for being a cig lighter burner. I guess he was more emo that anyone knew.

Didn't realize this went up and I was part of the discussion. Nice find Jeremy. Someone tried to sell some on eBay but I don't recall any takers.

So are the the circles found on the memorials lathe lines also? The circles that are usually around Lincoln on the reverse. Well its just one circle on ones I found. I think I still have one around here

I think the circles around the memorial are some other form of die damage - I think post hubbing - maybe something pressed into the die, but not something that spun around. I am not sure how the lathe marks on this 2010 got there, or when, they have the characteristics of a lathing operation specifically, but could have been post hubbing.
