I am new to the Lincoln Cent Resource. I have been actively collecting for over 50 years.
I just found a 2006 D Lincoln in some change that is very unique.
The bust has no wear, the rim shows zinc all the way around and at the bottom of the bust.
The reverse shows zinc all over with United States of America almost obscure, the Lincoln Memorial does show zinc coating.
There is no raised rim on the front or rear of the coin.
Any ideas.

It could be a broadstrike. Is it the same size as a regular penny? Or it could be post mint damage. I would like to see a pic if you could.

Sorry I haven't got back to you sooner. Yes the penny is the same size as other pennies, but the weight is lighter.
I have the pics ready but I need an email address to send them.

Welcome Geoman.

Looks like someone used it to move some furniture.
I think you're right on the money. It's post-mint damage.
