Colleen, If I remember correctly the 88-89's with the slight serif under the top primary serif is a damaged punch also. If I have time I will try to find this in my Errorscope/Hub issues and get back.... I know for sure the 88's were affected, just cannot quite remember on the 89's...... Eric

Colleen, The 89 was a defective upper punch. The 88 was a verticle bar. The coin you have is the 89 defective punch.
