View Full Version : A nice 46 d with a mint mark I cannot match

I could not match this rpm to any examples at coppercoins.com, or at
briansvarietycoins.com
There is a straight line near the top of the inner portion of the mintmark that extends from the outside of the D to the inner curve of the D. I am wondering if it is another, perhaps sideways, portion of a mintmark.
Perhaps someone has this rpm and can let me know what its attribution number is.

Nice find Jean... I ins[pected a 46D today but the MM has damage on the serifs... Looks close to yours... Very interesting!!!

Thanks fellas. There are quite a few attribution numbers that are missing examples at coppercoins, and not all of them are shown at briansvarietycoins, nor is this one in either of the RPM Books that I have here at home. Soooo... chances are it could be new.

It's beautiful Jean and a strong possibility of being a new find.
I didn't see it on Wexler's site either.
1946 is one year I haven't found an RPM for. Nice find!

I took a look at CC... If I remember the number correctly yours sounds farely close to 012... No picture yet and I hope yours is new!!!

I could not find any 46D close to this one and there are a few on the web currently listed for sale. Hope it is listed as new. Way to go Jean.
