I'm pretty sure this in a DDO. Just not sure which one? Also I would love to hear any thoughts as to what happened to the reverse of the coin. Error or abuse?

This seems like Die Deterioration on the reverse as well as wear on the coin.

Die Deterioration and wear. Reverse was struck thru grease. Nice error on the rev.

Yep, circulation wear on the obverse has thickened out the date and lettering - does not fit the hub doubling pattern I am afraid.
