There might be a little in LIBERTY, but I am not really detecting anything in the date or motto and not 100% on LIB - I am on an iPhone though

I must disagree with Jason... LIBERTY is really thick compared to an 84 I just looked at... Like Jason said he was on an iphone so that could be it... Is that a notch on the NE of the "8"???

Jim, there is no notching on any part of the date.

I may be wrong, but its not just extra thickness to look for in a doubled die, but extra thickness that is somewhat distorted. I see no distortion in LIBERTY.

What is that on the "8"... I do not see any evidence of a hit... Maybe a damaged die or light reflection???

Jim, I have no clue as to why it showed up like that...the 8 is normal.

The distortion that shows up on class 6 dies from the wheaties years does not appear like that on memorials. this coin appears to have some class 6 extra thickness on LIBERTY.

Now that I am on a computer I am more certain about LIBERTY.
