LCR member Aisha Shahid recently submitted a 1993-D Lincoln cent for examination and attribution. It is a new listing in my "C" registry files now assigned as 1993-D 1c CDDR-009.
This variety exhibits significant partial column remnants that can be seen extending within Memorial bays #1 thru #3. Additionally, very nice doubling of the archway with partial column remnants are easily visible within the upper Memorial bay #6 above the statue as seen in the bottom photo.
We will have more photos of this variety to include die markers for attributing as well as a couple more very nice DDRs from Aisha in the upcoming DVN #24 issue. Congratulations go to Aisha for a nice looking variety to be on the hunt for. Personally, I really like this doubled die reverse especially the doubling of the archway and columns in bay #6!
As always... Good Hunting!!!
Regards,
Billy
