Hi everyone,

I found this site looking for information on 72 double dies after stumbling upon a stash of them in an estate auction that I won. I have several of each variety. I’m still trying to identify some but it will be awhile before I can post pictures. I don’t have the tools yet.

I’m an avid searcher. I currently just use a 10X loupe. What do other people use? Also, any suggestions on equipment for digital picture taking?

Welcome to the LCR. I use a 16x loupe and a microscope that has a camera that hooks up to my computer. Or I use my digital camera with the loupe to take pics.

Welcome Keith,
I use a 20MM telescope lens when searching then my digital camera and a 10X loupe when taking photos. Not very good photos but the best I can do for now.
Look forward to seeing some photos of the 72s.

I use a 10X loupe as well. I think that 20X loupes are just too dark. Welcome to the LCR.

Anything over the 10 is to much for me too.
