1983 p ddo 6

Here's my other '83 DDO find...die #6. This one also has some MDD on the reverse to add to its mystique....well maybe not, but it's still pretty neat. I found this one recently, and while it's not incredibly exciting, it's always nice to find some good ol' ddo's.

Lara, not sure I understand what you are saying. You're not seeing the DDO in the photos or on the coins you look at in person?

lol Rock, in the photos posted. Its morning here, please bear with me while I sip my 2nd cup of coffee. But, I still am not seeing it :( Maybe too early for me?

Well the coin is a bit dark, but the shift is to the west so look at GOD and WE and you'll see the seperation lines on the right side of the letter, particularly on the O,D and W. I hear you about the coffee too.

Look close at IGWT... You will see some seperation lines especially inside the "OD" of GOD... Hope that helps!!!

there is machine doubling on the reverse, but the markers are there for die #6...if you look at "in god we" you should see it

Agree with jfines69, that is where doubling is most visible.
