Just checking to see if you all agree with me. I am fairly new at attributing varieties and would like to know if I am correct on this one. Thanks WOLF

Wolf,
If you could add a little more of the date to your rpm photos it would help to see the exact location of the RPM to the date. this is a major part of properly identifying an RPM.
It does appear to be the #004. Have you checked any of the markers on coppercoins?

This is what you're looking for Wolffy- This is of an MS64 Red I've got available for sale. (sorry for the shameless plug!)

You'll see the separation of Serifs at the NE tip most clearly. (Sorry the photo isn't completely in focus)
There are several RPMs for 46-S that look similar- look closely at the placement of the mintmark in relation to the date.

Wolf- The coin pictured is not RPM#4. Your looking for a trumpet tail mintmark over a sans serif style mintmark and the picture you show is a serif mintmark only. I posted a pic of my 1947-S RPM#4 stage "B". Notice the difference in position between my coin and yours with the date and mintmark? The coin you have pictured is not an RPM. Keep looking, they are out there; we usually find one of these every other year at the shows!
