View Full Version : 1994D Cent- what is it with the added 4

I have been searching this roll of 1994D cent and on some I see an added 4 next to the primary 4 in the date.

Some of the coins have plating issues but others have no problem. I am attaching a picture for your comm34197

this looks like plating issues, common in the mid to late 80s and 90s...

I agree! Not your ugly bubbles 80's plating issue, but a plating issue it is! I Think it's A Plating Shift When Stuck...Not Real Sure.:)

The issue is that plating problems affect the Mint mark,mainly Denver. I saw the 1994D which was posted by Billy but that is a totally different.
