Heres one of the 1 coin in my Bu roll I have just opened2916 what your thoughts?My picture are bad but they are the best I can do.
I don't see anything, but die 3 can be very weak. Maybe I'm just missing it.
I beleive the date may be Mechanical Doiubling. I may be missing it also.

Most 72s look doubled because the master hub was doubled at the mint. This may be what you see, I'm not sure.

This could be the Master Die Doubling found on about 50% of all 1972 coins. What does LIBERTY look like??

It's the master die doubling from1972.

I'm not sure which die you mean, but die 3 is one of the stronger ones- maybe 3rd strongest?

Comparing posted pics with photos in Billy Crawford's book, it does not appear to be anything other than a "normal" 1972.
Thank's Roger, Wheat. 72 is a year that is tough for me.

you are most likely right! but I mail off 2 to anacs with 12 other coins and add the 72's as the free coins to be grade they have ads running sent 12+a get 2 coin graded free $8.00 per coin cheap? 9/1/08
