Looks like the 8 took a hit and the metal was pushed to the left. PSD. That's what it looks like to me. Everything else looks normal.

I've noticed that the dates seem to show bag marks and hits more than other parts of the coin. Perhaps because they are high relief and stand alone ? But I agree the date looks like it took a hit, in my opinion.
